Renato Zamberlan was born in the Venetian province in 1970. After his studies in Business Administration at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, he embarked on a path that led him to combine entrepreneurial activity with creativity in various fields, from photography to graphics, from art to fine publishing. In his professional career, he has collaborated not only with the Art’è Group and the prestigious publishing house Franco Maria Ricci but also with multinationals in the manufacturing and chemical sectors.

His multidisciplinary training and constant search for new stimuli led him to approach the world of furniture in 2012. He started working with Horm as a Sales Manager for the Italian and North/South American markets. Almost simultaneously, he contributed his creativity to the design and planning of some of the brand’s most successful products to date. 

In 2014 he became a partner in the Horm Group and Casamania. From 2015 to mid-2022, he took on the role of Creative Director, signing the style choices that have led the company to win such world-class awards and recognition as the Good Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award, the ADI Design Index, the Critics’ prize at the Archiproducts Design Awards, the NY Design Award, and the IF Design Award.

From September 2023, he will leave all Group positions to embark on a new entrepreneurial adventure, founding the brand Dandy Design, of which he is also Creative Director.
